Great time but no time...

Sorry I have not posted anything recently. I am currently working as a contractor with Sapphire Technologies and I have been placed with Capital One in their ECommerce Department. I'm loving it so far, it's sooo different! There are a ton of people in the building and actual Sushi place downstairs!! It's a lot different then my old place but change is good...I will try to be better with the blog. PS Happy Birthday to Gabe today!!!!

Bath time with Nate is always interesting!!!!

Bath Time!

Bath time is always exciting but is extra exciting with this new princess!

Back to work and out of work

Well, I official returned to work on April 16th and after a very short two weeks promptly gave my 30 day notice. I work about 50 hours a week and drive 12 hours so I was never seeing Izzy and Nate and barely saw my husband. I'm very excited about this!!! I am going to focus on my school which ends June 30th and my family. My new job search is going well considering I just started this past week. I will try to find more time to update our website!!!

Izzy's First Day of Daycare!!

Izzy attended school with Nate yesterday for the first time. It was a VERY stressful morning full of Izzy and Nate crying and Nate not wanting to get dressed. Luckily Grandi was there to help me round all of them up and get them both to the car. When we arrived at school Nate did not want to walk in by himself after I told him that Izzy was going to school with him. When we finally got in the door and I took him to the toddler room and he saw me take Izzy into the baby room, he completely lost it! He was screaming "Mommy No!!!" It broke my heart to have to say goodbye to Izzy and leave Nate crying like that. Luckily when Gabe picked both of them up, Nate's teachers told him that Nate calmed down after I left. He was just upset that I was in there with her and not him.

Izzy had a productive day of sleeping, tummy time on the boppy, swing time, TLC and diaper changes. She is only going part time and Gabe is keeping her on his days off during the week. So she will not go back until Friday, which probably makes Nate really happy that he doesn't have to share his school again until then!!!

What's Going On Now...

After reading Emily and Jamie's blog tonight, and attempting to finally call them and my Aunt Karen to thank them for gifts for Izzy I realized that I am not the world's best friend, sister, daughter, niece, etc...because I rarely have time to call or write people and this would be a great way to keep everyone up to date!!!

I'm currently out of work on maternity leave but continuing to attend school on Monday and Wednesday nights. I'm currently supposed to be studying for an exam on Monday but ended up starting my own blog!!! I am getting ready to return to work next Wednesday and leave Izzy at daycare during the day. I'm more nervous every morning when I wake up knowing I am not going to be spending a lot of time with her in the near future, but it's what has to be done.

Gabe recently received a promotion at his job and is currently a supervisor at the correctional center. He has been such a great father to the boys and Izzy, he is really a natural!!!

She is 11 lbs now and 22 inches long!!! She is filling out and Kandi "Grandi" says that she is starting to look like a "baby" verses looking too fragile when she was first born.

Big bros Zach, Noah and Nate are adjusting well to their only sister! She is going to be well protected as she grows up!!! Zach is a great help and enjoys watching Izzy as she is starting to do more every time he sees her. Noah doesn't pay too much attention to her but is also 5 so at this point he doesn't pay much attention to anything other than cars and Animal Planet. Nate on the other hand is very interested in her. He loves to hold her and will run up and sit on the couch and say " I need the baby!". He holds her, feeds her, gives her the paci and pats her back. His newest trick is to take a wipe when she spits up and wipe her mouth. He hasn't figured out that she doesn't want to play with his toys yet or that he can't come up and yell in her face. But overall he is wonderful with her!!! We could not be more proud of all the boys!!!
